Marāu draws inspiration from Anatolia - a land of rich culture, art, and craftsmanship. Founded by artisans born and raised in this region, Marāu aims to revive the forgotten beauty of ancient Anatolian crafts and carry their legacy into the future. Each piece reflects centuries-old techniques - from silk weaving in Hatay to copperwork in Antep and stone carving in Mardin. Through every creation, Marāu shares the story of Anatolia’s cultural heritage, carrying its millennia-old artistry and values into the modern world. The buffet draws inspiration from the Anatolian woman and the strength she represents, embodied in Puduhepa. The buffet has a massive and masculine form but also possesses elegant and delicate details. It is both graceful and strong, just as envisioned, just like the Anatolian woman.
