Baltasar Lobo was a Spanish sculptor known for his depictions of mother and child. Born in 1910 in Cerecinos de Campos, Zamora, Spain, he was influenced by Constantin Brâncuși and Jean Arp. Lobo was associated with notable artists such as Henri Matisse, Fernand Léger, Maurice Utrillo, and Pablo Picasso. He passed away in 1993 in Paris, France. Lobo was honoured with the National Award for Plastic Arts. His works have been exhibited at the Galerie Vendôme.
