Founded by Alesia Sirokina in 2020, Square in Circle creates lighting designs that fuse geometric precision with the fluidity of movement. Influenced by dance - especially Oskar Schlemmer’s 1922 Bauhaus ballet - Sirokina’s work began with the signature ‘Dance of Geometry’ and continues to explore themes of symmetry, asymmetry, flatness, and depth. Using a minimal palette of shapes and materials, each piece feels both refined and dynamic, subtly shifting in relation to the viewer. Taking inspiration from the dramatic and sculptural costumes of the Triadic Ballet - a Bauhaus masterpiece by Oscar Schlemmer - the Half In Circle table lamp reimagines the voluminous, circular forms with a more minimalist touch.
