Babled Edition is the Lisbon-based studio of Emmanuel Babled, blending European craftsmanship with modern design. Collaborating across European craft districts, the studio merges ancient techniques with advanced technology to create iconic, high-quality pieces. Guided by cultural awareness and material authenticity, Babled Edition celebrates traditional processes while innovating for a global design audience. The Supernova art light series in marble required two years of development to achieve the perfect shades, unfolding into three distinct models in a light, thin layer of marble.
These shades are so light they can be hung from the ceiling, making the marble fly in space, and so thin the incorporated Led light goes through the transparency of the paper-like lampshade. Available in all standard finishes with custom materials and sizing available upon request.
