Founded by Alesia Sirokina in 2020, Square in Circle creates lighting designs that fuse geometric precision with the fluidity of movement. Influenced by dance - especially Oskar Schlemmer’s 1922 Bauhaus ballet - Sirokina’s work began with the signature ‘Dance of Geometry’ and continues to explore themes of symmetry, asymmetry, flatness, and depth. Using a minimal palette of shapes and materials, each piece feels both refined and dynamic, subtly shifting in relation to the viewer. Made in two-tone metal, the sparse structure of the Route II Chandelier is garnished with exposed bulbs with simple, folded metal shades - and its mechanics – laid bare for all to see –give the design a pleasingly industrial feel. Available in all standard finishes with custom materials upon request.
