Guided by alchemic experimentation, Kaytar works with natural materials such as flax, plant dyes, metal and beeswax, investigating transformation, material consciousness and the evolving life of objects. Her work invites sensory reflection, evoking memory, imperfection and a renewed sense of wonder. Drawing from the deeply furrowed ironbark texture shaped by time, this sculptural piece captures nature’s raw beauty in solid aluminium, crafted using the traditional sand casting method.
