Founded by Alesia Sirokina in 2020, Square in Circle creates lighting designs that fuse geometric precision with the fluidity of movement. Influenced by dance - especially Oskar Schlemmer’s 1922 Bauhaus ballet - Sirokina’s work began with the signature ‘Dance of Geometry’ and continues to explore themes of symmetry, asymmetry, flatness, and depth. Using a minimal palette of shapes and materials, each piece feels both refined and dynamic, subtly shifting in relation to the viewer. A sleek, space-age silhouette, the Vector wall light seamlessly combines different geometries and materials. The slim cylinder in brushed brass is capped with a small glass dome at each end, creating an elongated lozenge-shape. Nestled neatly into a small cuboid bracket, the brass tube seems to dock effortlessly against the three-dimensional back plate, as if it were afloat. Available in all standard finishes with custom materials upon request.
