Aline Hazarian is an architect by training who, after fifteen years in the family business, devoted herself to what she loves, presenting her first furniture and object collection in New York in 2018. This set of sleek dark wood and bronze dining chairs, with their clean lines and unfussy upholstering in elegantly stitched leather, read as a blend of the industrial and the decorative trends of mid-19th Century France. The contemporary base supports a subtly ornamental backrest, variously configured from spindles and cross-braces. 2016.
