The hand-crafted Ebb no. 2 coffee table is an homage to sculptural minimalism, yet
designed with everyday comfort in mind. A top with gently rounded corners rests on four
massive cones set back from the edge, letting you slide your feet in comfortably. Their
arrangement is deliberate: a smooth, troweled leg always adjoins a chiseled one covered
with a dense pattern of recesses. Thus, from every angle you see a rhythmic dialogue of
textures - the silky-smooth tabletop contrasts with rough, plaster-like planes and the grooves carved by a chisel. Ebb echoes Brutalism - the archetypal cone with a raw finisH - but tempers it with the soft outline of the corners and painterly brushstrokes visible on the top.
