Lit from above and below, the Cissbury Pendant is a celebration of light, of pure organic curves and of hand sculpted texture. Dramatic uplighting from the hidden light source inside the bowl is complemented by subtle highlighting of the central column as it pierces the bowl. The Bloom Sconce is Martin’s abstract interpretation of the wild Sea Malus shrub, a beautiful flowering plant found along our local Sussex shoreline. With a tantalising hint of the surreal, Martin’s abstract sculpture captures the energy of his making process and of the natural world, with handmade flowers grouped along the textured branches. A whorl of ruffled petal-like forms create visual intrigue, with the flower centres highlighted by a small bulb creating pinpoints of light. Available in all standard finishes with custom materials and sizing available upon request.
