Founded by Alesia Sirokina in 2020, Square in Circle creates lighting designs that fuse geometric precision with the fluidity of movement. Influenced by dance - especially Oskar Schlemmer’s 1922 Bauhaus ballet - Sirokina’s work began with the signature ‘Dance of Geometry’ and continues to explore themes of symmetry, asymmetry, flatness, and depth. Using a minimal palette of shapes and materials, each piece feels both refined and dynamic, subtly shifting in relation to the viewer. Anchored by a conical marble base – available in either black with pale striations or milky white alabaster – the Balance Floor Lamp is a light and airy design that recalls the structure and movement of a mobile or weathervane as it spins and turns in the breeze. Available in all standard finishes with custom materials upon request.
